About the Program:

The explosion of social media in today’s society is proving to have a far-reaching impact in resolving disputes in trial court. Attorney Peter Lynch will provide a 1 hour presentation discussing how different social media platforms, such as facebook, twitter and youtube can be useful tools to assist in proving or defending against disputes in court.

About the Speaker:

Attorney Peter A. Lynch works for the law firm Cozen O'Connor in San Diego where he concentrates his practice in representing individuals, companies, and insurers impacted by catastrophes, including subrogation and recovery, environmental matters, contracts, and other civil matters.

Mr. Lynch received
distinction with a Pro Bono (CLAY) Award, awarded by the California Lawyer for leaving a lasting impact for other attorneys to follow. This award was based on his representation of Judy Booher, whose son was tragically killed as a fire fighter. The Brett Alan Laws Act was enacted and signed by the governor to protect emergency response personnel based on Mr. Lynch’s work.

Mr. Lynch was also awarded the Thomas Campuzano - Member of the Year Award by the California Conference of Arson Investigators for his contributions to the California Fire-Arson Investigator publication on breaking legal developments impacting fire investigations.

For more information, visit Cozen O'Connor's website.
